I had a leak on the filler hose of my old 83 Dodge 1Ton pickup. I didn't want to weld or solder it being it is attached to the gas tank. I used JB Weld on it and it has held up for the past 10 years or so with no leaks. I think the key is to sand the surface so it's clean and dry first.

Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

Similar to what GCP said. Clean and degrease it, do my best to sand in there, (I'd spray with brake kleen, and wrap some sand paper on a screw driver or something if I didn't have a drimmel tool to fit in there.),,, then put some JB in that void to hold a short piece of flat steel that fits the void where the red is. Let it set up, drill for pins, then fill the whole void.

If that doesn't hold then I'd order the part like was suggested.

One down side to usint JB for a mend. If plan to weld it later it will be hard to clean it off good enough to weld.
