danny clifton OP "Grumpy Old Man" D Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 29,972 williamsburg ks	Grandkids were out riding all day yesterday. Oldest one gave them some well used ropes to practice with. They already had a couple. Anybody know of a good use for them? They are nylon 3/8 inch. If I toss them out will have upset kids I am sure. uplandpointer trapper U Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 375 East Central Mn.	I straiten them out and put a snap on them to use for dog training. I have bought several at tack sales when I did not have one. They work for young dogs to drag when you are working them in the field. The stiffness of them makes it so they don't tangle around stuff as easily.
