Henry came out with a single shot turkey gun 12 Ga 3 1/2 where they come up with that price it seems kind of crazy for a single shot to me.

Yeah looked interesting until I saw the price.

Wow lot of money for a single. You could take on old H&R and have a choke cut in and sites added for half the price. Get ready a a mule kick!!!

I don't use a shotgun very often, but I bought a Benelli Nova Shotgun 12-gauge, 3.5-inch shell, 28-inch barrel ~20 years ago. It has been a great gun for bumming around. It will reach right there with length of barrel. It makes a great turkey gun also came with 4 chole tubes. This gun now if you watch sales can get for 450 to 500$.

That price is a no go for me but it would make a nice high country gun in rough country if it’s light weight but probably kills on both ends. LOL

Can't believe an established company expects to sell any volume at that price, unless it's just a limited run or something.

What makes it a turkey gun? The color, sights, or name? That has to be one of the craziest things I have ever seen.

Short barrel, rifle type sights and tight choke with camo finish.

They should make it a 20 guage... lol, I have a few singles that I only ever shot 2 3/4 out of , recoil with buckshot or slugs is brutal. Can only imagine what touching off a 3 1/2 shell would feel like...

With the single bore tss craze they figured why not jump in. U guy that wach hunting kids see it I got him on public with a single shot with tss at 60 yd id love to see them so called turkey hunters use a 410 with normal loads not 10$ tss. Do your job with a call its easy to kill them

Buy a decent semi auto for that price..

I love singles and that is a nice gun but probably still $600 or more on the actual market.... Id bet if you did the math that gun with a 3 1/2" payload would have as much recoil as a .458 win, maybe more

I did not pay that much morefor my Browning 10 Gauge pump with 4 choke tubes.

That's a hefty price.ive got old new England single shot think I paid 80.00 for it brand new.painted it a dull green for turkey hunting.killed a pile of turkey with it.does kick like a mule especially when shooting 3 1/2inch.

Henry single shots tend to sell around 500 street price

making a long shotgun short is more expensive than you might think

sending off a barrel to have it cut and threaded will run you 250-325 so if you are cutting down a H&R that you had to pay 225 for now you have 500-550 and you haven't added sights yet

there is a cult following of H&R NEF single shot guns

if I was buying a turkey gun today I would be looking at the Mossberg 500 turkey with the 20 inch barrel

and I would use that for shooting most everything street price right about 500 dollars in the camo

I am biased since I put that 20 inch Mossberg vent rib 20 inch barrel on my old 500 and I have shot about everything but a turkey with it.
