If you attend the whole show you get a lot for what it cost. 3 meals a day, great food, and lots of it, well known trappers telling their secrets, demos day and sometimes night, the Saturday Night gift exchange, camp fire chats, there are usually some tailgaters, and lots more. I even got to meet Phil the famous groundhog a time or two. At the cabin and pavilion site there is a small pond with fencing, a couple times I attended Don had a couple live mink roaming around, I spent a lot of enjoyable time watching them. It is truly an event you don't want to miss, especially since it will be the last Mintoberfest.

I bet Paul could sell a lot of lure if he attended. Plus his input on Beaver trapping would be a crowd pleaser.

I believe it conflicts with NC Convention. I understand.

Don, the NC Convention datei s the last Friday and Saturday of September so no conflict with the traditional Minktoberfest. The date was a conflict the year or years when your event was Minktimberfest.

The price of admission is worth it just to have the fellowship with other trappers from all over the good old USA. I wish Boco would come.

That would be entertaining especially with his northern woods lore and trapping knowledge.

I've been trying to get fossil2 (and his son) to attend, but haven't succeeded.

Major Boddicker was very entertaining, it would be nice if he came back for the last Minktoberfest.

We have had a great and diverse group of attendees. From Zagger and Phil Brown to Gary Schuman and Gerald Schmitt, Mark Steck, Lefty, Stackhouse, Lyga, Witmer, and even Neil Olson.

Don't forget Russ Carman. He has been there several times.

Oh i'm not naming even a smidgeon of those who have made a difference. Bob Noonan, Robert Waddell, Slim Pederson, Major Boddicker, JC Connor, Bill Hunt, Jeff French, and the list goes on and on.
