Gibb, I was in Timmins last June on a bear hunt. Great area. We fished a small lake and we did catch a few smaller pike. Great country you have up there.

Very interesting!!! I have tried it but I seem to never have much luck. Not sure why though.

I trap minnows in my pond; mostly fatheads. I don't use any bait, just set several traps close together.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

Quite the set-up gibb. Mine is just a few small minnow traps.
Do ya have Sculpins up your way? Here in PA Sculpins are great big trout & bass bait
