This is turning into a car forum…lol. I went to the Shelby plant in Vegas last Wednesday. The tour guide wasn’t to keen on the car specs but knew a lot about Shelby himself.

The one in the back is a “copper cobra”. Body is actually copper, really heavy.

Dedicated to the Thunder Birds. A guy won this one at a raffle.

A KR almost ready.

Row of KRs almost ready to ship. Think she said these were bought in 2021.

A Shelby Daytona coupe.

If it is one of the original 6 cars made years ago , it is worth $4-5 million.

I would give a couple three wolf pelts for one of those. Seriously, thanks for the pictures. I need me one of those superchargers.

She said there was no kit cars in the place. Said not to touch it. When there’s little kids running nearby she freaks right out…lol

They had stacks of em on some shelving beside the door when you enter the plant. Too bad the tour doesn’t include walking the whole production floor. The new Code Reds were in the far corner. It’s supposed to beat the Hellcat or Demon but it’s not street legal…..which puts it in a different category I’d say.

Shelby made the original 6 cars back in the day. Then a few years back Shelby made some tribute reproductions some fiberglass some aluminum , 50-100 cars. Sold for hundreds of thousands and maybe worth 1 million each now , but the original 6 are the real deal. So not a kit car because both runs were made by Shelby.

Worst pieces of crap I have owned ... 1972 Plymouth Volare and 1972 Dodge D100 2-wheel drive pickup. Although, I sold both for more than I paid for them, so there's that.

Cool stuff. Would be nice to drive one of them but just looking is interesting too.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Did you get to see the Lamborghinis and Ferraris at the Win casino?

No, I didn't even know they were there.
Priced out the GT500 for 10 hours, comes to $247CAD. I think we'll do that next year and go to the dam or back to the canyon. After reading some reviews, it's recommended that you keep the control system on if you're not used to +900HP cars....LOL
There's so much stuff to do there. It's cheaper to do activitiesf off the strip cuz it keeps you out of the casinos.

If you want a free show just go to Freemont street at night and walk around. My wife is the reserved type which I like that. I bring it up every once in a while to joke a bit with her.
