Don Wolf. His birthday was February 5. He passed in 2021 to join his wife Linda. His heart was broken after she passed. She used to make Don his favorite pineapple upside down cake for his birthday every year. After Linda died, I sent Don a pineapple upside down cake every year on his birthday until he joined her in March of 2021. I still have his birthday in my calendar, but now I think of them smiling together.

The one that saddened me most was that young fella from out west-Marten Ted.
A good young trapper,he died in a loader accident while working on his trapline.

Can't believe you forgot Wolfer Paul

Was thinking awhile back about NTA Convention's i use to attend and always excited to see old buddy''s id only see once a year at those who are no longer around, doubt if i attended one now id know hardly anyone.

Belin always had some sort of 'mess' going on, usually with mscat, i really miss seeing him, funny funny man. Sam Smith and Don Aycock were a odd couple pair I always looked forward to catching up with, both should be in the hall of fame for all they did over alot of years but it's a beauty contest now so doubt they ever make it.

I figure that Coyote Charlie should get an honorable mention as he was Trap and trace s running partner at our MTA convention or even the NTA western conventions .

I'm glad that Glenn Sterling Sr and Dirk Miller were added to this list I miss visiting with both of them when given the chance .

There was another fella I believe his screen name was grumpy or something to that effect who also passed away about the time of the first western NTA convention in Sturgis SD .

I was thinking this thread was about Trapperman members who have passed. I don't believe these were, but I may be mistaken because names used aren't necessarily their real names.

It was about tman members The point of this post was remembering guys n gals we knew here and many of us have been here since before the first big crash. Im thinking around 99 Paul can you date that?Paul you are correct. Glen wasnt . I knew him well. If you guys want to name others we can always start another post of known trappers now gone.

I remember Miratrapper. He hasn't posted here in ages that I've seen. Is he still with us?

Joe "coongrease" from Beaver County.
We both had camps in Forest.
Considered him a friend.

Maybe a file so those that have passed and are trapping in the heavens have a spot where they can be remembered and not forgot.

He posts on Face book every now and then.
He goes by his real name .
Can't think of it off hand , but can find it.
We talk and post back and forth sometimes.

Was Old Hawkeye a member here?

The older fellow who went by the name of Furvor here on Trapperman from Idaho Falls. He caught 11 bobcats in snares one year trapping alone at 86 years old. He died 3 years later.

I know he has been named a few times already but Cohunt was an excellent source of traps and knowledge. He forgot more about traps than I will ever know. I truely miss him and am so fortunate to have some of his traps forever.

RIP Jim.
