What a cold snap you had. That crunch walking in snow. Lots of trail activity , it seems. Love all the rabbit tracks too. As many as the tracks and trails my three rabbits make around my place. They live here , I just feed and pet them …. grin

I too prefer the dark wolverine. The ones with deep red copper tone diamonds are my favorite.

Nice your camera kept videoing in that cold.

I notice you have your mukluk ties protected from the brush snaring them with outer pants covering over them. If I saw that right.

Lots of wuffs in your area , I hope you put a dent in them soon. Thank you for your time to video this and share. Stay safe.

Yeah. Winter definitely landed here. We hit -70 Fahrenheit about 12 days ago. Today it was 10 above so a very odd winter. Yeah when I was a kid we snares a lot of rabbits but for the past 7 years we don’t bother them in the hopes their numbers will bounce back.

Yeah the darker wolverines are much rarer that I’ve seen.

My gopro 12 has a newer lithium battery that gives me more than twice the record time and it handles the cold a lot better than the old batteries.

The skin ropes tie the boots on and yeah my carhartts fit perfectly over the tops of them.

Thanks! I did catch one a couple weeks ago. It’ll be in the 4th Trapline check video. Thanks👍

My dad and brother have collected a few bravos, but it takes a 2 old bravos for parts to keep one running. I wouldn’t mind finding one in good shape. They’ll prolly charge be over $4,000 for a decent one made 20 years ago. Lol

Thanks JK it’s been a real struggle editing videos around my work schedule. But little by little I’ll be getting them out. Thanks for watching and god bless

I enjoy viewing your ventures. Very well done. Hard for me to grasp dealing with those low of temps and for that many weeks! Animal activity in that climate during winter is amazing to me. Seeding the line is an interesting method and I am sure from your experience it works well. When you connect all three lines how long of a line does that get to be? Did you make those trails or did someone else work on them before you ran those lines?

Bryce

The ol Bravo is a workhorse! We have two but one is down because it needs a muffler, been trying to find a used muffler because a new one is insanely priced. In all the years I've used a Bravo I've never had to walk back, it's always gotten us home. We've always trapped as a family so we had to ride two up on both Bravos sometimes doing 60 miles in a day while also pulling a loaded siglin, the ol Bravo chugged along no sweat. The kids finally got to big to ride two up so the wife and I upgraded and the kids inherited the two Bravos. All I can say is " bravo " to the Bravo!!! [Linked Image]

Thanks! Oh man it got down to -70 2 weeks ago. The three sections of line add up to a little over 30 miles. I’ve had to reopen a few of these trails but they were here from long before I was born. I reroute parts of my line almost every year. Fires and brush can really ruin a good trail. Lol

Oh yeah! I wish they would have made one more production run of the bravo. I see them on Craigslist for as much as 5 thousand dollars in the past. Ive put a couple to work hard in cold weather and yeah I’ve always made it home with them.i do like how light they are compared to my Skandic now. Thanks Victor#0
