illinideer OP trapper Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 1,028 West Cent IL	We had a bit of a snowstorm last night putting down about 3 inch of heavy wet snow. Coming back from the farm that I trap managed to slide my truck and trailer into the ditch going up a steep curving hill. Tires spun out about 3/4 of the way up the hill so about 1 1/2 hours later and 80 bucks the wrecker made it to me and got me going again. Adult female in a stepdown dirt hole Bridger #2 dogless full pad catch. I also caught another young bobcat on my farm day before yesterday but forgot my phone for pics. J Coyote 5 Badger 1 Coons 17 Bobcats 2 Released Grinners All of them USN AE2 VF-31 Tomcatters Retired SMSGT IL ANG 183 Fighter Wing Coyote U Class #4

In good price years, we do it to help ground nesters and land managers remove livestock predators. What we spend along the way is immaterial to what we gain. And if you believe any of this, you’re a trapper, for sure Never too old to learn

Just think what we get to see on a daily basis that the city slickers never get to. Maybe I'm just getting old, but love to see the sunrises on a spinning dog.

Part of the game is dealing with disappointment and learning to hit the curve.
