Remember, in low price years, we trap for the pure enjoyment of being out in nature. In good price years, we do it to help ground nesters and land managers remove livestock predators. What we spend along the way is immaterial to what we gain.
And if you believe any of this, you’re a trapper, for sure

Yeah fellas, but how much does your fishing boat make you, or camper, or golf cart? Not in it for the money. Just think what we get to see on a daily basis that the city slickers never get to. Maybe I'm just getting old, but love to see the sunrises on a spinning dog. I think we are laughing with, not at. Part of the game is dealing with disappointment and learning to hit the curve.
