I'm sure your proud of yourself and your NRA. To bad they sold your rights out in 34 and your ok with that also. .

I'm sure that spun it as a good thing and some how a win. It's always the same play over and over. We give this up but it's not as bad as it could have been.

Honestly I would be very embarrassed if I couldn't see the pattern and put it together. But many in your age group are not capable to look or even admit they were wrong or had been fooled.

I was wrong and had been fooled up to I'm my 30s thinking the NRA was pro gun. I found out different and learned and admit I was fooled. You will continue to make excuses attack anyone that points it out and expect different results. And you will continue to keep loosing your rights a piece at a time. Sure you will get a small win now and then so you will send more money and can stick your chest out and feel like you won. Even if you have gone backwards 2 miles in your life to your 1/4 mile forward.

Be sure to send in some extra money to pay for the fancy NRA party.

tell me PF...why don't you earn what your company's CEO makes?

seems to me, that would be a no compromise position to take.

Classic I can't come up with anything on topic so try to change the direction and topic to unrelated things.

There were no rights to sell in 1934, 1968, or 1986.

"Many are startled to learn that the U.S. Supreme Court didn’t rule that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual’s right to own a gun until 2008, when District of Columbia v. Heller struck down the capital’s law effectively banning handguns in the home. In fact, every other time the court had ruled previously, it had ruled otherwise."

The NRA created this right.

oh, it's related! I'd bet money your Union didn't get EVERYTHING they asked for when the contract negotiations first opened up, did they?

Well he is not saying the pro gun group that sold those rights off i over and over is the group to send money to and hope it will be different or better next time. Doing the same thing repetitively and expecting different results used to be the definition of insanity. But the way things have been flipped these days it's probably considered genius.

Actually white marlin. They got everything the members wanted or said was important. Our health insurance cost and coverage stayed the same, we got our 30 aand out lined out on paper there had been up in the air since we were sold. We not only keep it but got pension increase and a 17% pay raise over the course of the contract. Also everyone will get their added vacation time a year sooner than they would have. They probably asked for more but got more than the membership was hoping for.

Again that has nothing to do with selling out rights. Rights are not negotiable your born with them and they can not be taken away. They were given to you by your Creator. Try as hard as you want labor negotiation is not the same thing not even close.

so, you can still buy a machine gun without a tax stamp?

no? that PROVES you are wrong about your "rights". in THEORY you would be correct. in PRACTICE...not so much.

Rights can and WILL be taken away! if you don't possess enough political power, you WILL lose your "rights". it is a PROVEN fact.

you can cry, stomp your feet and plug your ears all you want, but it doesn't change that REALITY.

btw...you're admitting your Union compromised....why is that okay, Mr. Absolutism? [I'll bet the answer is: they got what they COULD.]...it's no different in politics.
