You asked about more gun control passing under Republicans. Or at least I thought that's what you asked so I backed it up with the biggest restrictions in the last ,100 years. Now I didn't give the answer and make it easy instead asked it in a ? So you had to do some work. Then you go back to who is running no with no other comments.

Who is running now a crook that been in politics his whole life and the best president I have had in my lifetime.
But just because he has been great on many issues dose not mean I give him a pass or make excuses for h being anti gun and not knowing when to keep his mouth shut if it's not going to have a benefit. I tried to show that with McCain as an example because I thought it was an easy and apparent. The guy was a useless POS there was plenty to go after about but NOT his POW stats. That was dumb

How about mouthing off to every want to be nobody. He was the President he is not required to respond to looses that just gives them the attention that are seeking and makes them look important and makes their platform larger. It's best to not even notice the small ankle biter and move on unless there is something to be gained. Why wast the effort and time. For Trump it's his ego.

I look at Trump as a tool. A tool to stop the liberals.
Is he the perfect tool for that job? Obviously not.
But where is the perfect tool for this job? Doesn’t exist.
At least not one that is running for President.
So where is the use in complaining about the tool (Trump)?
Or on the opposite side saying the tool (Trump) is the best for the job.
Either of those is wrong.
We just gotta use the tool we have for now (Trump). Because at this moment it’s the only tool we have unfortunately.
And look for a better tool for the job going forward.
Just my view from my mountain in WV.

Most of us have a lot of different tools. No body is willing to use them for what they are for.

What that has to do with, is that you ought to be used to people insinuating your are a liberal/support liberals due to your support of unions. But you just pointed out that you don't support liberals? Ever occur to you that someone can not like the NRA, or not even be Trump's number one fan.... but yet not be a liberal?

As Lugnut referred to, the NRA sponsoring the Great American Outdoor Show, the largest show of its kind in the World, is a BIG deal. Thank you NRA for taking over it when it looked like the show was doomed. No other organization was willing to do it. Plus, the exposure of Trump speaking there can only help the gun owners cause and the protection of the Second. Amendment.

What gets old, is being told you worship the man. Or your a cultist. Or any other number of things because you agree with Trump on a lot of things. You can't have a discussion about him without someone on here saying it.

I concur. I don't particularly like Trump as a person, but we are not voting for Calumet High School Student Body President (Red Dawn reference for those playing at home). It is not a popularity contest.
What he was able to get done in spite of all of the Democrats and half of the Republicans out to nail his hide on a barn wall for no reason whatsoever for his entire term, is absolutely amazing to me. When you are right, you are right, regardless of your personality.
I can not wait for him to get back in office. If he gets cheated out of this one, that will be fine too. As I have been saying for a very long time, things need to get a lot worse before they can get better. Another stolen election ought to just about do it. Keep your powder dry boys.

Yotetrapper30: You don't have to be "Trumps number one fan" or a "Trump Worshiper" to realize he is the best thing to happen to this country in decades.Yet,,I see that crap all the time from those that call themselves conservatives. If you don't see that too,,take your blinders off. Also,my support of Union Workers,,has nothing to do with my opinion of Unions in general.

I'd like to have those peoples paychecks that bash Trumps presidency yet will still vote for Biden.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I like Trump and plan to vote for him. That said, he is still not conservative enough for me. Out of the choices we have he is the best, but there could definitely be better, more conservative candidates than him.

I wish I could blame Trump's fiscal spending entirely on Covid but sadly Gov't spending was increasing under Trump long before Covid hit.

take a wild guess on how many votes a real fiscal conservative would get...[hint: not many]

listen, I don't like it either. but we are most definitely a small minority. too small to make much of a difference...obviously!

None of the haters even tried to discuss the positives that were posted, that says alot to me so Wolfy, take note of this for the next time this issue comes up and you're wondering why we don't post any positives for the 50th time to be ignored.

I won't because any one of the negative anti gun things the NRA has supported the biggest worst gun control to pass in the last 100 years is not off set by the small things they " fought for and got changed". Hmmm. Like maybe if they didn't support the big anti gun things the small things would not have had a chance to pass so they wouldn't have needed to fight to get them changed back. But thinking beyond hey look they got this all this fixed is just to much. Thinking is hard after all.

I pretty much addressed you on the only thing I see you hold the NRA for a couple pages back, the 1986 gun protection act which you ignored but brought back up later.

Was an amendment put forth by a democrat at the last minute and is very doubtful it was supported by the NRA.

Right in the middle of our conversation, crickets.
