If you like the gun control NRA supports, NFA, act of 68, Reagans 84 law, Clintons instacheck, then say so. I do not. Get tired of people telling me to support NRA. I used to. Then decided my Dad uncle and granddad were right. They just want more money.

the political reality is that NO ONE gets 100 percent of what they want. GOA doesn't, either.

No but I did. in the past I made several lengthy posts detailing the many positive things the NRA has done to benefit gun owners and promote the shooting sports.

I'm just saying seem anything time I've ever asked a NRA supporter when about the NRA I can't get a legit answer. Like I'll ask something with no malicious intent such as " what bills or or actions as the NRA stopped or help pass that where to the benefit of gun owners in the last year or two" or " what exactly does the NRA do with my money"
And it never seems to go well. Usually goes down the lines of " well if you where a member you'd know !" "Why aren't you a member!" " they fight for our rights!" That or I start getting interrogated on who's supposed to be the better option.
Like I'm sorry that doesn't answer my question . I mean seriously I'd figure I could get a link to a free news letter that's gone over recent events they helped with or " yeah last month their lobbying helped get bill XYZ kicked dout". Or " the last years they have been helping pust towards reforms with this states laws" . I don't need a lawyer lever dissertation on how every penny is spent , but the fact it seems anytime I've legit asked wanting to know no one came seem to give me a straight answer .....well that doesn't look good and doesn't make me very confident. And I'm sorry but I REFUSE to support and give money to something strictly based off of " well there supposed to" . Yeah peta is supposed to spend all there billions of donations helping animals and their kill rate is what ? 70% ?

Finally asked him " ok why do you hate trump so much ?"
Says " o he's the most evil racist stupid president and he's destroying this country!"
So I ask : " ok what's some racist stuff he's done ? "
He COULD NOT give me anything. You'd figure such a racist guy would have so many document points where he's being racist. Idk maybe calling his employee the hard R or something, throwing bricks at a bunch of Mexican kids or something. You think it would be easy for someone who hates the guy so much to have these examples ready to go but NOPE. Just a bunch of regurgitated bull saying how no one should vote for him.

Well then I asked what's so good about Hillary since he loves her so much .
He says "O man she's the best ever ! Man she's such a good woman she should be president"
To which I ask "Ok but why ? What are some things she's done ?"
He says : "man she cleaned dup New York! Ran it good "
To which I ask again ": " ok how so ? What's some stuff she did ? "
COULD NOT tell me anything not even something as simple as she " she did something with the police and helped with corruption in the force " or " she put more funding towards the schools" SOMETHING but no could not give me anything. Just started turning getting upset asking why I thought Trump was better ( never said that but I do) an similar

Now on the flip side one of the actual good interactions I had when I comes to the NRA ( asking about it that is) came from one of my managers . He was an NRA guy and I asked him
" hay doesn't seem like the NRA really does anything but I'm not really sure , what exactly do they do with all the money and donations?"
He don't get conceded (I am NOT saying anyone here has ) or rude , combative anything , no he started stsred giving me some basic information and explaining stuff. Saying hay you can go look at XYZ and it can give you more info ,how they do a lot with shooting education and ranges and stuff. How he felt they have helped some stuff. Nothing super out there deep end knowledge but actually gave me something past " your a gun women er you should be apart of the NRA"
But what I'm getting at is if you can't give any basic information that can actually be helpful in understanding something past what might just come off as party rhetoric then....egh your not doing much to really convince anyone about the good or bad or something if they have more then a few brain cells.

Ok now I stit back to see how somones gonna spin all that to say I hate the NRA trump and something else
