Welcome to the forums.
If footholds are legal, #11 double jaws and #1 1/2 DJ make for excellent raccoon traps also. Always good to have a variety of tools in the tool box.
Congrats to you for involving your son, the youth of today are the future of trapping.
Good luck to you and him!

Welcome to the forum and if you go to setting anything on dry land but a dog proof, you will no doubt snag that cat and many more.
When you do, we only ask for a few pictures and a short story LOL.

Welcome! Sounds like you're off to a good start. Really nice that you have a young helper on the trapline with you. They are our future in the trapping industry. Trapping is good conservation. Best wishes to you both.
Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

It's always great to meet a man that knows where he is going.
Welcome.

Welcome aboard. Don't let inexperience deter you from setting coyote and cat sets. Gotta learn sometime and there's no better time than now.
