RockCrick OP trapper R Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 298 Oregon	What should I expect if I were to drive to Coldfoot for a night around October 7th. Wanted to do the arctic circle thing and hopefully see some wildlife. I’ll be in a 4x4. Is the Dalton really like they make it out to be on Ice Road Truckers?

GUK trapper G Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 163 Interior Alaska	Easy-Peasy, if you can drive any two lane gravel road, you can drive the Dalton. Don’t drive like an idiot and pay attention to signs. It is an easy drive to Coldfoot. GUK.....it's the sound they make when they hit the end of the cable

isnarewolves trapper Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 377 fairbanks,ak.	Nothing like ice road truckers. the first 70 miles is paved. If you don't like a semi on your bumper, pull over he'll go by and you will have a great trip. Life is hard. It's even harder if your stupid!
