Caught one a cage trap today. How often do you trap or see them? He's fully primed. I will skin this one to have tanned. Since southern coon aren't worth much otherwise. Sarge

I used to catch 1 black coon, out of about every 6 coons, at a friend's farm, 6.8 miles from here. My buyer had an order for black coons for taxidermy. He paid $10.00 more for black coons, than a normal colored coon of the same size.
My friend caught a cinnamon coon there, in one of my traps that he borrowed.
Friday, I saw two dead cinnamon coons, about 100' apart, on the road, next to a field that is turning into woods. I might ask about trapping there next season. I've never caught a cinnamon coon before. Diane was with me and asked me "Why is that coon so orangey?". She didn't see the other one.
