I don't miss the cold winter.

It's been an overall nice Winter here too. We had one small cold stretch of single digits, mostly at night. Otherwise its mostly been in the forties or higher during the day and above freezing at night. We didn't have to shovel or blow snow at all. Hopefully I didn't just curse us saying that.

I wish it was colder and some snow this weather is hard on the alfalfa and the wheat.

I could hear the ice going out on the river last night. Going to walk down and check it out as soon as it gets light. I already can’t wait for next winter.

it's been Great

Up here open winters on many crops is not a good thing and also many perenial flowers, berries etc.
Many times the warm winters are followed up by hotter than average and drier then average in many areas of the western midwest, western cornbelt and prairie areas.
