Thought a lot of him, the Associated Press is already taking cheap shots and accusing him of overt patriotism (Is that even possible?)
RIP Toby Keith

Toby Keith performed after a NYE Bull Rider's Only some years back and it was my job to build the arena and back pens around the stage which wasn't bad. Getting the loading alleys and stripping chute put under it and setting the bucking chutes right in front of it was tricky.
He was cool as a cucumber and easy to deal with. If you ever heard that he was just a regular guy who liked to drink beer and tell off color jokes- that's what you saw, and that is what you got. Years later I heard how many millions he donated and helped raise for wounded warrior projects.
RIP- you were a great American.
