When I lived in Kentucky we could get paramount pickling cucumber seeds from the feed store. Not sure if that is an actual variety or just seeds they sell to those that grow for paramount, but we really liked them. Can't find them here, not sure if they still sell them.

National Pickling is my preferred cultivar. They do run to the large size but after trimming ends and quartering they nicely fill a quart jar with fat spears.

Arkansas Little Leaf.
My favorite by far.

Alibi. They produce well and are still great as slicers when you find the bigger ones you missed on the vine.
I grow them on a four foot cattle panel trellis, makes finding and picking a lot better on my back.

Wisconsin SMR 58

A high yielding, vigorous and long bearing variety, developed at the University of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin SMR 58 Pickling Cucumber produces fine, straight, uniform, blocky, dark green cucumbers with black spines, slightly tapered at the ends. Resistant to Cucumber Mosaic, Scab, and Spot Rot.

National Pickling for me. The key to getting small pickles is to pick them every day.
