Wow That was inspirational. I was lucky enough to be right behind Brian and his wife in line. We got to visit a little bit before he sold. All I could think about on the way home was what a great motivation to never give up in life and trapping.
yes and he said you folks behind him did not mind in waiting for him to make that clip. I had the fortune to meet a one handed trapper that was self-sufficient living in the bush by his fur money he made back in the 1970's. The day after his burial, the gov Parks went in a burnt down his cabin with all the equipment. The disability Society went nuts because of all the items he had developed were destroyed and not recovered. He was the best darn Fiddle player I have ever heard play

Seems like a very humble genuine person. He is an inspiration for sure.

Has to be one of the coolest videos and stories I’ve seen yet. Thank you for posting this up. Very inspirational. Geez I complain about not having enough time, or weather too bad, or this and that. Really put things back in perspective for me. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Brian was a student in my class at the FTA Trappers College (group 4). Every comment on him is justified. One of the most humble, dedicated persons I have ever known. His wife is so dedicated to supporting him she also deserves a huge pat on the back. While at the FTA College, Brian was a motivator to every person there, both students and instructors. My hat is off to both he and his wife! Roy Greenfield
