Just bought a copy Friday from O’Gormans. 135$ with all the updates. Good grief! I'd sold you my copy for a little less than that.

The book itself was 49$ and some change. The updates is what added the costs, I think there were 4 or 5. I don’t remember right off. It was supposed to be in the mail today but wasn’t, it’ll most likely be here tomorrow. I wasn't impressed with this book's layout and pics..they both suck. There is a paragraph or two, as in any good trapping book, that is what I consider good info. But, the cost of this particular book was not a good value to me. There are much better trapping books than Hoofbeats of a Wolfer, for less that $15.

I got my uncle's hoof beats of a wolfer, after he passed. I know people slam it but I feel a lot of good information in it if trapper's chose to use it . IMO
He never got any of the updates (so I just have book only) Guess I should get the updates to.
Let me sugar coat this

I would sure like you to feel us in on couple of them 15.00 books cuz I've read a ton of coyote stuff and in my opinion nothing has helped me more than O G.

Well for starters, Land Sets and Trapping Techniques by Charles Dobbins has more hèlpful info in it than any 8 out of 10 "coyote" trapping books. It's $12......and well organized with good layout and decent pics.

Is that it? Not knocking it, but I believe to catch your share of critters you need to understand the critter, not just put in random sets, no doubt it's tough to cover location and movement in a book.

Beyond the Dirthole by Don Lee for $10.
I could keep listing those low cost/much better coyote books, but it'll never change the fact that you and I both paid way too much for that OG book with scattered info.
