I would like some very strong near pure mixed in a gel like long call lure but stronger. Always nice to have with a q tip . Put under a door handel on a vehicle ends up on hands and the steering wheel of people that may need some perspective. Stronger than long call lure would be even better.

Good for you Crappiekiller! You'll get use to doing quick. Just make sure you wash out your syringe and needle very well. The stuff will ruin anything if left full strength.




Wife tells people my barn and truck always have a smell of skunk. She says I'm either nose blind or just like it.
To tell the truth, I do like the smell of it. Nothing says trapping to me more than the smell of skunk, mink and fox. Definitely better than the smell of a coyote

You will find that removing the pods it a lot more efficient in extracting the essence than poking and hoping.

Yep, though the poke n hope is a good idea for your first one or two, then when you skin them you can memorize where the glands are so you dont hit em on the next one you do thats fully loaded

It only takes once.

I always Remove the pods and extract, then bring them inside the shed to finish skinning. Not all that stink came for those skunks. Most were nearly empty.

The average size skunk in many areas don’t carry much essence but the jumbos can carry 2+ ounces often they are the producers here.

My best was 35 ml. The most from this group was 22ml. 10-15 seem to be avg around here. Live trapping sure makes a difference as the essence is spared by dispatch method.
