Stolen music?

I'm sure I'm not the first one to notice this but I didn't get any hits on my searches.

Listen to Waylon Jennings "Mental Revenge" then listen to "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". Obvious musical elements seem to have been borrowed.

The folks that would know have mastered the chase on the numerous media platforms.

I wrote a song and posted it on YouTube. I received a notification of copyright for an old George Jones song that I had never heard of before. lol

Here’s a couple questionable.

… matter of fact the nfl should require everyone to get his haircut and concussion’s would likely be nonexistent

In terms of actual musical notes there are only so many combinations that are playable and sound good. With possibly a million if not more songs written, I have no idea on the number just that it is a lot, note combinations are going to be repeated whether intentionally or not. I had this discussion with a guitarist I know over a year ago and we did some research into it.
