This is probably a stupid question, but I watched the outlaw Josie Wales for about the millionth time last night and always wondered... in the end scene, does Fletcher know that he's talking to Josie outside the saloon?

Fletcher wanted Josie to know he was a free man now, no one else will be after him. Yeah well then Josie had to go back to Sondra Locke. Worst acting job In an otherwise great movie. Shoulda let Fletcher dump him right there and save the misery. Osky

James, would Josie Wales have voted for Joe Biden or Donald Trump? What are your thoughts?

Yes, he was Joseys commanding officer in the war. He knows exactly who he is talking to.

In the top 10ish westerns of all time ... The only thing that ruined it was Sandra Locke.
