Went to the ranch today to take care of some business and took a walk around. While I was there, I had a bee land on my coat. It's January and the cricks are running like the first part of April. No snow except for north side of trees etc.. Not complaining one bit seen enough bad ones in my life.

It was 54 degrees warmer today than two weeks ago here for the lows. It is 46 here now.

Makes me kind of worried what February and March are going to bring..

Winter is shorter and shorter here every year. Went from four months of snow and fun to a couple snows that melt three days later. Had a fly land on me today lol

Everything gonna burn if no snow here in feb or march.
Should have 3 or 4 feet by now,only got half a foot.
Never seen the like of it.

The 14 day forecast looks very good and that gets us into the middle of February. My ONLY complaint about this warm weather is that the Asian beetles are coming out already. I hate those stinking things!

Well, I expect wintah to show back up but one thing it has shortened it up and we are on the downward spiral. Turkeys are fanned up and strutting around too. Seen a few dink whitetails still wearing head gear. I did find a set of horns on the walk in. I didn't drive all the way because the water is running and didn't want to rut things up. Beautiful spring day. Lol

Well we had 2 to 3 weeks of that already, we shouldn't see that this year again.

We can't ice fish or get out on the beaver ponds. For the U P this is unprecedented for the beginning of Feb.

I'm liking it! After the last couple years, this should be good for most of the wildlife.
Even good for the soil with the freeze and thaw.

Been getting less and less snow every year here lately the winter months just been mud

We need run off for dams and cricks here. Most don't realize how important run off is for back country dams, lakes and cricks.

Wonder what the Groundhog will say ???

The high temp here today was 64°. Lows in 30s tonight. Deep south Georgia just a few miles from Florida line.

Heard on national weather here one day this week, that Great Falls Mt had higher temps than Florida for day or so.

Talked to a friend today that said he was ice fishing on 11 inches of ice today and figured he had about 11 days left with the weather coming, I want it colder as I’m trying to get that beef by till the weekend but it’s getting warm.
