Now don't go and point out important details. Let the union haters have their cake and think they are always right . I guess to be fair the people who wrote the article didn't know that company workers are not union jobs getting cut. Trimming the fat ( heavy on company employee) reduction in freight demand and increase in labor cost is 3 items. Yet it's all the union in his mind. They are cutting what's not important to keep the business going. 12000 jobs not union. Saving a billion. Who is important to the business is showing.

My step son is a union commercial electrician, been laid off since before Thanksgiving. Philadelphia area. Private independent guys I know are busy.

He votes Dem, he just doesn’t get but he is 24 years old. Has time to grow up and change.

I could go on and on about all the stupid decisions made by management but don’t want to waste my time.

Around here if your in HVAC or electrician the only technicians sitting at the hall waiting are those that don't want to work or those who do sub-par work. not in anyway saying that applies here.

Need to just get rid of a lot of government agencies. These big conglomerates are run about as wasteful as the government except they need a profit to be made . I guess it’s not totally on them they are forced to comply with a zillion government regulations which also is useless in business
