… partner of mine sent this … about 5 miles from the house.. I’ve only seen one in my life and that was a couple counties west of here

[Linked Image]

… I believe I hung one in a bobcat set here in the government woods years ago but it just mounded up and pulled out

… got to see if we can get in there first… then figure out if it set up camp or was just passing through… probably passing through if I had to guess with the floods we had this week

Our coons do that too. Never thought of blaming it on a lion but I like your way of thinking Little bird. grin

I know but it's better to give than receive especially when dealing with you. I hope you catch one, that would be THE bucket list animal for me even if I had to turn it loose. Theirs been some confirmed sightings in my area but I've yet to see any signs of one on land I'm on.

Savell I'm just advocating a pre-emptive strike. That Kansan told me revenge will be like air to him...

I'm guessing Jake or Rich from Mountain Men scared that thing all the way to Texas. I know they never come back...

I've turned one loose from a 4coiled #2 Northwoods. it was an a drag. A young cat but big enough to be scary by my self.
Also helped turn one loose in the same set-up. Exept it was cross staked and short chained. The backing was a ponderosa log 12-14''diameter. The Laplink the trap was staked through was wide open we didn't realize until after the cat was out of the trap that it was just held by a hook. They are powerful strong.

Probably a bigfoot pull out way that pine sapling is bent over like that, lol.

Figure that cat is like our black bears, have one pass through now and then, never stick around.

Looking for love this time of year. It might be just wondering through but could stick around if there is something to kill.
