Does anyone have some suggestions on the best method for cleaning feces up from an attic used as a litter box? I'll mask up and glove up with some disposable outer garments, anything else I should keep in mind?

Ok, be careful… round worm… yadda yadda yadda.

We use full face respirator with proper cartridge and tyvek suit. Strip all that stuff off before you get back in your truck. You don’t want it in your seats.

We don’t want to spread any nasties through the house so we use an insulation vacuum that will suck everything outside the house.

It’s a good candidate for insulation removal and replacement. Encapsulation is a good option too.

It’s probably not a bad time to remind you guys to make sure your Dr knows you work with animals. If you come down with something weird many don’t think to look for Zoonotics.

Might try this from the cdc, it’s a good brochure to have printed out. Most people you hand this too decide to just have the job done rather than diy Ing it. Hoping this works.

Are you guys getting dumpsters or just double bagging and then into the dumpster? I have a 40x40 loft in a barn that is pretty loaded with raccoon poo and have never tackled anything this large. Open to advice.

We’d probably upsell use of our insulation vacuum, you can rent them, but since it’s a barn, a shovel and contractor bag would work.

The benefit of the vacuum is everything is deposited into a bag outside. We keep the bag in a dump trailer so there’s even less handling. If customers are worried about airborne particles, this puts that fear to rest.

Make sure you’re covered and protected. You don’t want to put that stuff in the seats of your truck and bring it home to your kids.
