Just went to ESPN / Iowa girls basketball schedule. Click on the link and look at the ticket prices. The starting price for the game they predict she will break the record is 311 bucks. What do you think the ratings will be for that game? Just saying those of you that don't or won't watch her play are missing out on something special if you appreciate raw basketball knowledge. PLUS super human talent.....

Don’t care which conference she is in. I’m a die hard SEC fan but when someone gives their all and doesn’t think they are entitled to be coronated anything they deserve recognition.

Jbyrd, IDK what else I can say. I already compared her to Larry Bird, would I do that if I didn't know anything about Bird? I think she has the same basketball IQ as Bird &Jokic. Of course Joker was the linchpin last year. Jamal Murray critical. But even those two touted AGs defense against KD and Lebum. Meanwhile Joker is shredding the record books and bringing people back to how the game is suppose to be played.

I agree ring Jolie is another freak of nature with his dad bod basketball skills. Only reason his not the main headlines every night is his tan ain’t dark enough and he doesn’t play by street ball rules Give me the ball and get out of my way so I can dunk.
With that said this generation of NBA players seem to have an unwritten rule this year. Let me dunk and score a lot so I can get mega bucks. We’ll figure out wins last 5 minutes. Dig a little on how many 25 point leads have been blown this year so far. IF DEFENSE was even remotely a concern no way can a team come back

She has 2 girls guarding her most of the game and she still scores 45 points. She has done more for girls basketball than anyone that I remember. Everywhere the girls go they fill the auditorium. Number 22 jerseys everywhere. This is all good for girls basketball.

P.S. Don’t forget about Kate, Molly, Hanna, and Gabbie, they all know how to play basketball.

People compare her to a lot of players but I think Pete Maravich is the closest comparison. The assists, long bounce passes and behind the back passes are really something to see.

Friend of mine from Iowa called me Saturday morning at 8:00 and told me he had an extra ticket to the game! I said it's 7 hours to Iowa City and the game is at 1:00. If he had called me the night before I am just crazy enough to go. All I got out of the deal is a few texts.
