Anybody sold any northeast Kansas or southeast Nebraska bobcats yet? Just trying to decide whether to skin and tan them for the taxidermy market or put them up cased for selling to a furbuyer. I am fine with either way as I have done plenty of taxidermy and don't mind skinning them that way.

Thats a nice sized cat! If he had a clear belly he would likely be worth double that I am guessing! Lots of spots.

I know...for my first Cat it's a Beaut!

But Rick Olson told me every day how ugly he thought that cats belly was.

I'm a bit south of you so you'll likely do better but I was told by my buyer he was giving $60 on most cats.

First cats are beautiful no matter what the belly looks like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - the heck what the fur buyer says!!!!

Just saw a picture of a 48# and a 55#, both northern WI with dogs. Huge cats.

That is a BIG cat. The biggest form around here in central Pa is 46 (10 or more years ago). My biggest was only 35 pounds.....jk

You got a better offer on yours than I got for my first cat. He offered me $35 and it was put up!

Yep, caught my 1st a couple weeks ago...she will be tanned, even though she has a beautiful belly!
