It's what's for dinner. Started by searing a chuck roast, with a smoke tube, on the grill, then an hour in the instant pot with 3 beef bullion cubes and 4 cups of H20. While that was going, sauteed veges and herbs in a bit of olive oil, then added 4 cups of water to veges to soften them up, added a can of diced maters and all the broth and meat from the instant pot. Now, make some biscuits and have a beer while it simmers to perfection.

There has to be a scientific reason why soup tastes better the next day!!! Lipid molecules breaking down.

There has to be a scientific reason why soup tastes better the next day!!! Any of my crock pot meals are better the 2nd and 3rd days. I like pots of ham and beans or corned beef and cabbage better as leftovers even tho they are delicious from the first day.

I have been using chicken broth and a half cup of my homemade diamond wine. Gives the soup a little richer flavor and makes me happy too !!! That could be the other half cup of wine though !!! If the soup is heated above 170 oF the alcohol is gone.
