I pulled the trigger on some new binoculars and went with the image stabilizing feature.

If you haven't tried bino's with this, you won't believe how much better you can see! Unreal!

What power?
I've always found that up to 10x I can hold steady, anything above that I can see that stabilization would be desirable.

Awesome , didn’t know there was a feature like that, if I don’t have my elbows on something I may as well be looking through my socks. What strength and brand did you get?

12 power Waggler.

I can hold fairly steady, but there's alot of detail you don't know you're missing until you push the button and it stabilizes.

Its better than I dreamed it would be.

I've had them for years. Unless you look through them you will never realize how good they work. You can use them in a moving boat and see as clear as can be. Very good investment!!!

Will do.

Like Gman says, until you use them it's hard to believe.

Several years ago our shooting team was at Camp Perry competing in the National Trophy Infantry Team match. I knew a couple of guys on the Marine shooting team, and they loaned me a pair of their Image Stabilizing binos to use coaching when our team was shooting. I could follow the bullet traces at 600 yards no problem. I couldn't believe how clearly you could see the traces. I sure wished I didn't have to give them back,LOL. I didn't know that technology even existed at that time.
