Can I flesh beaver and otter on a dakota v to be put up? Everything I read is mixed. What all have you fleshed with your machines?

My friend has one he uses for taxy work, take a lot to get used to using the flesher. I would stick with beam/fleshing knife for otter and beaver and practice with lower grade fur on the Dakota.

I would still beam and flesh your beaver and otters traditionally. Fleshing machines are better for shaving hides thin rather than shaving off large chunks of meat. When used my Dakota V to try and flesh tissue it was just a mess and wasted time.

Thanks for the input guys. A good friend of mine is a taxi and has one he said I could barrow for as long as I want he no longer needs it. Figured I would ask for my backs sake. Beam and knife it is!
