As mention before, they won’t cycle in an automatic. And the single shot has probably got carbon buildup in the chamber. Brush the barrel good and should eject just fine.

Anyone that owns a gun and votes democrat deserves to have there gun taken, cause they truly are too stupid to own a gun.

I have a Remington 121 Fieldmaster 22 pump gun smooth bore and the miniature trap machine and a case of the miniature clay targets. I've not used the machine or thrown any of the targets but the rifle is used to take out starlings and pigeons at night in a couple local barns. The owners don't want 12 or 20 ga guns going off around their cows. The 22's are ok and they work very well. The pump also does well on carpenter bees and dragon flies. I have a longtime friend that has a Remington 581 smooth bore bolt gun with a couple choke tubes. First choke tubes I ever saw probably close to fifty years ago. My preferred ammo is Federal with the folded crimp.

You mean 15 feet right?

They work great on snakes and chipmunks in the chicken coop.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I shoot several hundred a year. Snakes and some at bees. I use a ruger SR 22 semi auto. They shoot I work the slide to eject and shoot again. I can make it sound like a full auto. Their a cottonmouths worst nightmare.
Carpenter bees are a lot of fun but itcan get real expensive these days, their there still fun.

Thats what we shot sparrows with that were sitting in the barn trusses at night using a dim flash light. That and my red rider. You back up and it kills the bird and doesn't put holes in the roof. I've never used the plastic cap ones.

I've shot many pigeons off of barn joists with the crimped shells. As said above, keep the range under fifteen feet and they are effective, No damage to the roof. Effective on barn rats and mice at close range too.

Eh...wot?

When I was a kid I shot at a starling out my bedroom window, about six yards away. A couple feather flew off the bird, and it flew away apparently unscathed. I've never shot a 22 shot shell since. Can't think of a reason to.

Bass Pro get's them in time to time. My VFW Post uses them for our monthly meat shoots.

When I was a kid I shot rats in the neighbors milk barn with the crimped ones. Tossed em outside for the cats.

I have an old Stevens single shot that I inherited from my Grandpa. It shoot them just fine. They work great on starlings and chipmunks. I don't know if you could kill a red squirrel with them or not.
