What's your preferred Nutria Coil Spring or Long Spring?
Save the land, resist against developers!!! We don't need more houses. I've lost too much trapping land to new housing developments.

I sure caught a bunch when I first started trapping with 1.5 Victor long springs. But eventually I started using 1.5 coil springs (Pioneers) and had less pull outs. So I vote coil spring.

What's your preferred Nutria Coil Spring or Long Spring? Newt rats are like otters, but I have to use a cage.

Truth be told I prefer a 220 over all other traps for nutria. That way I don't have the darn things trying to bite holes in my waders when i check traps.

wws, do you pull them nutria out of the cage by the tail live? That's what I used to do when I trapped them in Tomahawks. Sure was exciting!

Snares personally. Super fast and extremely effective.
If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

220 is the best for ease of set up. Where a 220 is not feasible I like a no2 coil spring. Reason for that is nutes that miss with the front foot and get caught on a back foot there is a better chance of getting a good hold on them. Nutes have a big back feet. Ended up with to many toe claws when using smaller traps in the days I used to target them. Most any foot trap 1 1/2 or larger will catch them.
