Sorry guys, I know this has probably been discussed. Do you see a change in coon this time of year in regards to committing to live traps? I've had a couple jobs set recently, and I use covers on my live traps. I've had my covers pulled off several times, traps tripped with nothing in them, and this morning covers were off, traps rolled over with no animal. Was not having any issues in warmer weather getting them to commit. Thanks.

Educated animals most likely. Always stake down or stabalize your cages.

I rarely get nuisance raccoons outside at this time of year. The few calls I do get are attic coons, which I catch with #160 belisles over the entry. Either stake them down or switch to a DP if situation allows.
