I have a one in 700 remington. Put a timney trigger on it. Has killed a lot of stuff. I shoot nosler ballistic tips at coyotes. Had it awile. Kinda beat up looking. Carried it many many miles. Still will reliably hit where i aim it.

If the barrel interior is not shot out that’s a decent price.

I do, still have my Parker Hale from 1986. I get made fun of by the younger crowd but when it speaks there is usually something dead at the end of the trail. Mine has a thin barrel. I had a Ruger with a heavy barrel in .25-06. I sold it for a lighter one.
Just passin through

If I could have 1 rifle, it would be a 22 250.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Mine chroneys 55 grainers at just over 3500. I am using IMR4895. I could push it faster but not a lot. Very accurate loaded that way. Flat shooting. I shot over the back of several coyotes when I first got it. Tore up several by shooting at the top of the back expecting more drop.
