Made 15 sets yesterday and picked up 7 big beaver this morning. A muddy mess it is on the wide Missouri. Sink up to your knees in muck when you get out of the boat.
Nessy your right, that beaver lure you sent me sure does work. But I already knew that. Up to 19 beaver so far and slopped in 7 more sets this afternoon. Catch ratio should have been better but they dropped the water 6 inches last night. Had 3 traps high and dry.




Boats pretty heavy with the water this low. We had to pass on a bunch of sign and slides. We could see the beedy eyed fur balls laughing at us, but we couldn’t get to em. Think I pulled my knee and hip socket out of joint wallerin in the mud.
