The Foothills - Fulton Montgomery Trappers, NY will be holding a fur sale this coming saturday, January 6 at the 4H training center, Ballston Spa, NY.
Doors open 6AM, sale starts 8AM.

Hey AL,

If you attend the auction this coming January 6th weekend,
could you jot down the price ranges, averages, and numbers
offered & sold of the various species such as beaver, otter, fisher,
muskrat, coon, mink, grey fox, red fox, coyote, marten, bobcat,
weasel, skunk, & opossum ?

Also the price per pound for dried & wet castor.

That is a lot of info to be collected. It really needs to be gathered from the computer.I am heading to Pennsylvania immediately after the sale , but will try to gather as much info that I can while I'm at the sale. Don't know how long it will take to get species averages. I don't expect many mink, bobcat,weasel,grinners, or skunks.
This is usually a decent sale for fisher, beaver, skunks,I expect a handful of marten and otters. With the marker what it is it is hard to predict.It is one of the better sales in the state.
Groenwald was here friday, but I did not go, plan to sell at Foothills this weekend.
