I dont see anything that would indicate that it could dissolve parrafin wax. Its basically oxiclean with a bit more alkalinity. Might be good for after season of cleaning of traps if you trap in thick, organic soils.

Or use it to clean wine/beer making equipment.

I would just look for lye, or battleborn cleaner, which im fairly certain has lye in it or something similiar because it about ate my aluminum pot...didnt realize the pot was aluminum at the time.

SniperBBB, I can remember years back when I was degreasing a bunch of snares I just made. I got the bright idea to dip them in some Muriatic Acid I use on occasion for cleaning other steel items for the trapline. Needless to say when I pulled the soaking snares out most of my aluminum ferrules and stops were dissolved. Lesson learned. Only thing left were the steel washers and swivels.

It was diluted, however obviously not enough. I was in my 30's so it has been a few decades ago.

If you know someone who has a cement mixer, put 6 traps in at a time. Stick a peg or nail between the jaws. Use 1/2 to 3/4 inch gravel in the mixer. In about 10 minutes of tumbling your traps should be clean and ready to paint or boil.
