That doesn't count you trapped it. That's a dispatch. You just can't stake out by a dam and pluck them off when they come out

That’s interesting. Down here they’re nuisance animals and no season. I think anything short of dynamite is legal.

We also can not set traps within 15ft of a dam or hut.
We can only set up to 10 traps only 2 of those can be body grip

If I set 10 traps In one wmu I cant go to another and set anymore

The stupidest thi g about the beaver laws is you can set with 15ft if the dam or hut but if it's in a river or even pond and they have a bank hole with no hut you can slap a 330 right there

My part of NY with no otter season you cannot set a trap within 15 fet of a dam, house or den. And we have trigger restrictions [Linked Image]

Nothing wrong with having the trigger way off to the side & tight together, I do it a lot more often now that I know the reasons.

Yeah gotta love the laws here in pa ..they won't even let us use a trap set underwater larger than 6 1/2
