I always thought 3 stooges was stupid. Never cared for All in the Family either. All the others were ok though. I liked Bewitched and Lucille Ball too.

It's because the "newer" stuff you watched, and the "older" stuff you probably watched with your dad. I have the same syndrome! Not those shows particularly though.

No one, I mean no one could pull off a more convincing complex telephone conversation than Bob Newhart. He did it so well that I couldn't tell that there was never anyone on the other end of the line. That phone wasn't even plugged in. He did it so well that it made you figure out in your own mind what the other side of the conversation was supposed to be. I'd say that was when he was at his best. His droll, emotionless delivery killed me too. His material carried the water, not his antics.

We watch a lot of the old westerns we pic a series then watch them until we have seen them all then pick another show and start over. Several shows on Grit TV that I don’t even remember.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
