For anyone that likes to hear a different type of Christmas song try Jetro Tull" A Christmas Song" It is a about the true meaning of Christmas and I think it would be a better world if we all stopped for a few minutes and thought about the real reason for the holiday Sorry I do not have a link for the song perhaps some one can help out with that THANKS Very brief and to the point

Old Ian had many religious based songs. He has COPD bad now from breathing smoke on stage for 50 or so years. My God is one of my faves.

Thanks J STATON & Flipper56 I am a big fan of Jethro Tull I saw them in concert twice in Hershey PA during the 70,s At one time I enjoyed their music But kind of thought of them as just another band that was another act However with some age I think they where really a very talented group that was so far ahead of their time I needed time to realize they where a one of a kind musical unique band that no other group ever could be compared to They are not my favorite band but they sure put out some very
noteworthy songs and albums in their careers Killbuck I have also thought that in his song writing Ian Anderson often referenced religious themes in his music And mostly those ideas where in support of moral values And he pointed out they many hypocritical concepts that are often a part of todays society Law Dog It just shows that Iam not very in tune with what others might think And no offense intended I would Not think you would post a reply in favor of Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull His ability with several different instruments was top notch And when he was on stage and playing his flute and dancing around with his leather vest and the stocking/leggings he was know for just putting on a show for all to see His ability was one of a kind He was a truly great showman and it was not just an act.

One of my favorite groups growing up. I've lost count how many times I've seen them. They definitely put on a show like W said. They just put another album out recently. Glad to see some other folks with similar taste is music.

Merry Christmas
