I just asked bossman one day, that being said I've been on here forever and a day.
I will say though being a mod here is.....yeah ,"fun"

You want to be a Mod,grow your hair long and dont shave ,dress in flashy clothes,preferably with lots of colour and big bellbottom pants,and wear lots of cheap bling and say Groovy a lot.
Do that and youll be a Mod.

maybe not , I mod on another site , I was asked to be a mod after years of being there not the other way around , you get to try and sort out all the garbage when something does happen. often there is now winning just damage control.

you get asked by being someone others respect as not a trouble maker and upstanding in your posts and the views and morals they portray.

it is a fairly thankless job with no $ so you just have to do it for the love of the content and site.

what apeals about being a mod is keeping this amazing website safe and i love the content im on here 8 hours a day 5 days a week just looking at all the posts i think it would be really cool to do im not intrested in it for bonuses or money because you dont get paid. i just want something else to do exept watch youtube at school when i get done with my work.

If you have 40 hrs a week to be on this forum, I recommend finding some other, more productive ways to spend some of that time. If you are new to trapping, get out in mother natures landscape, and just take it all in. Look for tracks, trails etc.

I have been on here a lot lately due to my recent back surgery. 19 days ago was my surgery,. I just got back from a 3/4 mile walk, to check on deer scrape activity. I have a very hard time with being bored, and cannot sit still!

Two requirements of being a mod are that you be charitable towards others and brutally handsome. These two things will help you represent the site as a welcoming and non-judgemental place to be.
