So I had just a litle time between cutting firewood and heading to wrestling practice today. So the boys said let's go see if we can shoot some rabbits on our side if the property line before the neibor has his sons dogs up and hunts that half of our farm (dogs don't follow property lines and neither do his guests. )

So we went I jumped at least 2 both boys got a shot and missed. So mission accomplished they had shots.

BUT, I had a very hard time getting through the brush. I couldn't keep my balance walking on the logs in the brush and I really struggled geting my left leg picked up high enough to get over logs and brush. Didn't cover half the area I should have or stomp it out as well as I normally would. Also beside weak legs I'm very low on energy.

So just another reminder I do most likely infact have MS. I can't keep living in denial I suppose.

Why not go to the doc and find out what the issue is?

I don't know your whole story, but if you don't have a good neurologist, you should find one. If you do have MS, you should get diagnosed and research treatment options. There are a lot of medications that help reduce relapses and even slow the progression. Avonex, Copaxone, Beta Seron, Ocravis, and Tysabri are a few. You are in my prayers sir.

Lyme disease will mimic MS , I would find a LLMD and get a blood test sent to Igenics In CA.

What is the deal with guys in this site not wanting to take care of themselves? One is self diagnosing his own Covid and treatments, and now one suspecting MS and just acting like it’s normal.
I’m a Dad and a Grandfather. I go to the Doc to make sure I can stick around as long as possible to enjoy them and my time with them.

Please take a good look at this. Don't waste money on a regular Dr. If you suspect Lyme disease.

If you don't have a medical problem I have found walking sticks help when walking. I had both knees replaced last year and lost a lot of strength in my legs and core. The sticks really helped as I worked on regaining my strength.

Ok so 2 years ago I was off with covid when they made you stay off and the healt department called you every single day. Now other than being extremely tired a few days and loosing tast and smell for less than a week covid was no big deal. I also had flu b at the same time.

Since I have a non human work scheduled I can't sleep a lot of times at night so was up at 3ma and walked into the kitchen and stepped in the dogs water they had spilled in my socks. Now I was shocked when it was hot water and I could not find a hot water line leaking just tracked it to the dogs bowl. I stuck my left foot in it and it was cold like you would expect. My right leg skin was also numb. I lost my balance and fell 3 time in a week. The doc would not seem me tell after my 14 day quarantine was up. When u got to see him he sent me for MRI's that came back suspected MS and he sent me to a neurologist. That took 3 months to get into and he ordered a repeat of the test.
He said it could be long covid or MS. I saw him monthly and he keep me off work 5 months. He wanted to do a spinal tap, I said ok but was not crazy about him sticking a needle into my spine . They called and said I had to go get labs before hand and a covid test within 3 days before. At this point I had had enough of the covid crap, m and I was staying about the same and felt like they were just guessing. Also I figured long covid since the timing lined up. So I told then no no I don't need to do all that infact what you need to do is cancel the appointment and release me to go back to work and if i have any more problems or get worse i will come back and see you then. . I had to argue with them 2 weeks to release me with no restrictions.

I started working even more ot than ever to build up saving I blew through when off 5 months and to get debt free incase I did have something I would end up disabled with. Well the hours and little sleep the last year and a half are not good for me and I wrote all the little things happening off as lack of sleep ect. Untill my left leg quit wanting to work properly this summer. I struggled and had to focus hard to walk on it then at the end of my step forward it got so heavy feeling and I really had to fight it to keep it from just falling to the floor. My low back started bothering me right arm and pinky andbring finger are numb but that happen from a wreck years ago and comes and goes. My eyes started bluring at times and hurting, getting headaches , my neck and head feel weird and I get off balance when I have to turn around backing up a lot driving one of the big pieced of equipment at work. I also had constipation for the first time in my life for days. Got desperate enough to try a saposatory.. My right leg started going numb and getting tingly more and at times not working correctly like not hitting the break pedal when I told it to. So I left work drove the 127 mileshome and made an appointment with my Dr. He set me up with a different neurologist becuse I didn't think my old on was grounded in reality. He was correct when he said I needed to change jobs but he missed the part where I needed the healt insurance and I can't find a job up here that makes more than 65k with worse benefits for higher cost than I hav now. So to go from 90 to 140k a year depending on ot with pension and a good 401 to 50 to 65k with no pension and crap health insurance that cost 300 a month more than what I pay for great health insurance was just not something I wad willing to do. And if I had health problems before I had my insurance and probation period in I would be sunk at a new job.

Now the left leg not working right only lasted a week and a half this summer and had been fine untill today I have not had an issue with it not wanting to work. Today it worked it just took a lot of effort when trying to stomp brush to run the rabbits out to the boys. The thing is every is always intermittent and when it goes away I let it go.
I have that new neurologist appointment next month they take several months to get in to. Probably could have got into the old one faster since I was his patient but I think I will try out a new one.

As far as lymes I had a blood test done for that this summer and it was negative.

Good luck. When I had an infection in my back last spring my doctor told me to go to the emergency room rather than make an appt. with a specialist. You get in to see the specialist immediately and not have to wait several months for an appt. Again good luck I will be thinking of you.

Maybe get a D.R. Trimmer/Mower & make some trails through the brush for you to walk through.

Stroke residuals will also produce those results, may mot even know you had one could have been in your sleep. I'm not one to give advice I fail to follow myself but in this case I agree if not for you do it for your kids

The old wreck, from years ago, is likely the cause and the damage is likely to a vertebrae in your neck that is placing pressure on your spinal cord. My friend Ron had the same issues, for many years. After many CAT scans, MRIs and experts, one doctor finally decided to scan Ron's neck, instead of his lower body. Many years before, he had broken a vertebrae in his neck in a fight, that was pushing on his spinal cord. They kept him in the hospital, until they did the surgery to repair the vertebrae, because if he had moved his neck wrong he could have instantly died, anytime over the last many years.

Parkinson disease can cause mobility issues balance problems and extreme unexplained fatigue are all associated with Parkinson But no matter wat it is or might be get yours checked out Thinking of yourself as superman does not cure your problem I know from experience You mentioned your 2 sons If you can't find a reason to get to a Dr than do it for their future

At 75 and with Agent Orange problems, I have the same deal, but I think a lot of it is just the 75 part. LOL Hang tough.

My niece was diagnosed with MS, and the Drs. gave a bad prognosis. She researched alternatives and she is doing great Dr's. can't explain it either. Another serious thing to look at that gets misdiagnosed is lymes as MS. Serious.
