So ,Ruger just brought out the Super Redhawk in .22 Hornet. Any bets on how long before guys are griping about twist rate and trying to load long , heavy .22 bullets for deer hunting? LOL

At $1.50 per round or more for factory ammo, who is going to buy one?

I have nothing clever to put here.

I don't see the advantage in a short barrel over a .22 mag other than being able to load your own ammo.

But you should be able to buy factory 22 WMR for less than you can load a Hornet for. Yes, it makes no sense other than to TRY to capture the Taurus "Raging Hornet" craze.

At today’s prices you should still be able to load 100 Hornets for about $34 IF you don’t have to buy the brass. I’m still loading them for under $15 per 100
I do love the little Hornet the handgun would be interesting

Maybe it will get more popularity and they will start making more hornet bras and ammo. With more scale maybe prices we'll come down a little and availability will go up.

I bought a Winchester 43 22 hornet and a 218 bee from a guy and he gave me a beer case of ammo and brass for both guns. I'm set.
