It's so dependant on what I am doing.
Live market coyote - #2 Bridger Fur market / ADC coyote - Jake trap Coon - #11 coil, Duke or Z-trap DP, any ol 220. Otter/beaver - 220 and 330 Belisle, CDRs.
That's mostly what I trap these days. Of course if I was trapping mink, rats, fox, etc. it would be a whole different list.
If I could only use one foothold for everything, it would be a #2 Bridger.

^^^^^^ the weathered wood ,is the door, So the single long spring would be the catch, where the rod goes through....if that makes sense
It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

I'll admit i'm a round jaw fan, just what i got used to. For canines i have many favorites, any of the 550s, montana #2s, Victor #3s, Sleepycreek #3s among others. But, I have caught more fox and coyotes over the years in the duke 1 3/4 os traps than all the others combined i think. I picked up 19 of them that were baseplated, new chain, bubble tipped and had never been in the ground for $80 years ago and the just keep plugging along.
I do want to buy a no bs jr. just to see how the other half lives. lol PM me your address. I have a dozen that have never seen dirt. I'll send ya one.
Why do I carry 10mm? Because shooting twice is just silly.
