I decided to get rid of USCCA, I watched a video on the Alan Colie shooting (which I consider a bad shoot) He was found not guilty with a public defender because the USCCA decided it was a bad shoot and didn't want to lose money so they denied him a lawyer! God forbid I ever need lawyer services for a self-defense shoot. If I do, I can't afford an insurance company making that kind of decision, I'll need a lawyer. I'm looking into a different company, " Attorneys on retainer" It is not insurance, it is a direct line to attorneys supposedly. Anyone know anything about them?

Don’t like to hear that about USCCA. It would be interesting to know the percentage of cases they decide not to take. Although, I don’t know all the details and, of course, wasn’t there, I don’t think I would have shot the You Tuber from what I read about it.

You can find the video with a quick Google search.

I guess I’m not sure the point of having their insurance, here I would be covered by my general liability insurance, but I would still have my own attorney just for my peace of mind.

No point to their insurance. If they think it's a good shoot , they provide a lawyer. If you lose in court , you have to pay them back attorney fee. No win situation with them.

I discussed it with a lawyer acquaintance I used to shoot league with one day , he said watch out most of those services are not actually insurance , you can tell if they are a bonded insurer your state.

if not it is a subscription and they can write you a check for what you paid them in subscription and say have a nice day.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
