Looking for a decent scope base and rings for a savage 93, any advice?

Your favorite scope too

Just something for yotes in the yard maybe something for those spots i don't want to shoot a centerfire.

I bought a Nikon P-22 NIB two or three months back to put on a Savage Mark II. I need rings and bases for it.

I am very happy with all of the mounts that I have purchased from Talley. https://www.talleymanufacturing.com/product-category/talley-scope-rings/.

I have no scopes on my 22 magnums, but would likely pick a 4x on the low end variable from Vortex or better yet Leupold.

I'm with both rags and MM on their comments. Vortex has some lines of value scopes. However, I would opt for a centerfire scope for a 22 mag. All of the scopes I bought for 22's had the parralax set at 50 yds. The 22 mag has an effective range of 100 yds for targets of appropriate size, which is where the parralax is set for most centerfire scopes without adjustable objective. The Talley light weight rings are the ticket for a light rifle like the rimfire. They are a milled integral base and ring (one piece) and have served me well.

I like vortex scopes and Warne steel rings, although aluminum rings will work well with .22 mag

absolutely EGW for the base a one piece

measure your ejection port size

blue locktite or permatex makes a thread locker pen that is very handy easy to put just a dab on https://www.farmandfleet.com/produc...vHzOvFJw0oCOsTEvCPKjF3MBdNRoCWI8QAvD_BwE

budget scope for a 22mag the Vortex crossfire II 2-7x32 2x is fast on target running deer fast 7X will get you enough reach to max out the limits of 22mag range very forgiving eye relief

honestly I know people don't think overly highly of the Weaver quad locks because they are aluminum but it is 22mag not 300mag I have them on 308 and 30-06 and slug guns and they hold zero just fine.
