What is low carbs really? Seriously do the value numbers given for any food even calculate to anything that’s tangible to figure out a goal even? Sugar free is often not low carb plus they play with what a portion even is.
Meat and nuts come to mind but everything that taste good is salt, fat or sugar most of the time.

I put rendered fat (tallow) in my coffee every morning...probably a few table spoons total with my coffee daily plus it is all I use for cooking and I put some in my rice...crockpot is full of it right now.

Just saying those are the 3 main things that flavor our foods I think who should or not eat them depends on the health concerns of that individual person. I eat fat and salt in moderation but the carbs keep my A1C higher than it should be is my issue now.

a really good apple or pear about 25-30g carbs depending on size
once you break yourself of sweet and o without it a while all those old things will be TOO sweet
or you eat just a little bit of the very best my youngest made a lemon pound cake the other day , it was soo good I had a little square of it.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

They make stevia in a brown sugar mix if you want to add that flavor to a recipe it tastes like the real thing its kind of is it’s just not sugar.

Meat and nuts come to mind but everything that taste good is salt, fat or sugar most of the time. I dropped 50 lbs. 2/12 years ago and have kept them off without much trouble. I'm not on any published diet but sort of figured out what low carb works for me. Most days I doubt if I have 25 carbs. You are going to eat a few carbs so I won't waste what carbs I do eat on something like bread or sugar. Sugar is pure carbs, cut it out and see how much better you do. Drink lots of water and shun soda pop I also don't eat till 1 pm most days and am done eating anything by 6 pm period. No snacks of any sort after 6. Get on the internet and look round and you can come up with foods that are truly low carb and will work for you. That leaves out most prepared foods, those are usually filled with carbs. Once or twice a month I will have one meal that I don't strictly follow this. At the church potlucks I'll try and pick out the lowest offerings and skip a piece of pie or cake for dessert and it works for me.

Heres one we use: Low carb pumpkin pie. Can make this with no crust as well. Also Heavy whipping cream for whipped for topping.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Add the butter, almond flour, hazelnut flour, sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt to a medium-sized bowl. Mix together until crumbly, and well combined. Evenly press the crust mixture over the bottom and sides of a 9" (23 cm), un-greased pie plate. Set aside. Pumpkin filling In a medium-sized bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the pumpkin purée, sweetener, butter, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Pour in the egg and the heavy whipping cream, and mix until just combined. Pour the filling into the pie crust. Place aluminum foil or a pie shield along the crust edges, to prevent browning too quickly. Bake on the middle oven rack for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is just set. Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours, or until at room temperature. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate for several hours before serving. Whipped cream topping Add the heavy cream, vanilla, and sweetener to a medium-sized bowl. Using an electric mixer, whisk at medium speed, until soft peaks form. For serving, slice the pie, and top with a dollop of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
Tip
This pie can be covered and refrigerated for 3-4 days.
